Description
This simple bottle opener is made for regular use. I forge each one individually from mild steel in my Rhode Island shop, then apply beeswax while the steel is still hot. The beeswax darkens the metal, brings out its forged texture, and helps protect it from rust. At six inches long and about five ounces, the opener has a comfortable weight without being bulky. The broad handle provides a firm grip.
Because these are hand forged, you should expect small differences in shape, surface texture, and finish. Hammer marks and other slight variations are part of the forging process rather than flaws. The opener you receive will closely resemble the one pictured, but it will have a character of its own.
These openers are normally kept in stock and ship within one week of ordering.
