Oyster shucker via Railroad Spike

I made a few of these as inspired by another blacksmith who makes something similar (and whose name I don’t remember). It’s nice to do something with a railroad spike that isn’t the usual knife or steak flipper (I’ve made a few of those too…). I love the look of these but probably won’t make more. They’re really good at shucking an oyster, but not great at cutting the muscle that attaches the oyster to the shell.
